For the last 3 months, MCM has been doing a whole house remodel. Every inch of the house has been gone over and everything has been updated. There has been some room re-arrangement, kitchen completely updated, all bathrooms gutted and changed, and the exterior re-arranged.
We are getting to the fun stuff. The next few weeks will be, tile, countertops, flooring, and finish electrical & plumbing. We are hoping to be far enough along that the owners can have Thanksgiving in their newly remodeled home. This whole project should be completed by the end of the year. MCM has been busy doing dry rot patch and paint at the Silverado resort. We have been removing dry rot and freshening up the 200 condos at The Cottages, a residential community near the driving range.
After a lot of hard work and many bags of material the lime plastering is finally done. Not only does it look good it also feels good. It is really smooth and feels good to the touch. It’s a great product, never need to paint, won’t mold, very strong and looks good. It is sealed with a clear sealer that does not change the sheen or feel. It is the best sealer I’ve ever used. You can’t tell it is there but the water beads on it like a waxed car. Should last a long time, considering there are 3000 year old lime plastered buildings still looking good today in the Mediterranean.
This is the work in progress. It is a wine cellar and bbq area that was started 30 years ago. It is getting plastered with high end lime plaster, wired for power, and a covered bbq and pergola constructed.
